The Self-Reporting Questionnaire (SRQ-20) was developed by the World Health Organization to screen for common mental disorders such as depression and anxiety, especially in primary care. It is a free, widely used 20-item yes/no screen. A total of about 8 or more suggests probable common mental distress.
