The need to evaluate is how much you naturally form opinions — judging things as good or bad, liking or disliking them — rather than staying neutral. People high in this trait have opinions about almost everything; people low in it are more comfortable being undecided. Neither is better; it simply describes a mental style.

Your tendency to evaluate — to form likes, dislikes and opinions — versus staying neutral. It is a normal personality difference, not a strength or a fault.
Is a high score bad?
No. High scorers have opinions readily; low scorers are more easy-going about staying undecided. Each has its place.
